Challenges and Strategies for Success during Virtual Learning and School
August 19, 2020 @ 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm EDT
Are you feeling anxious about your student’s ability to learn effectively during virtual schooling? Do you have concerns about your student’s attention span, willingness, level of motivation, or skills to navigate online learning? As we all come into the new “normal” of virtual schooling, MySpectrum Counseling & Coaching recognizes these are just some of the challenges students may face when learning exclusively online. We have prepared this free webinar for parents, teachers, college students, college professors, school administrators, child care workers, or anyone working with students virtually this fall. We recognize that some students lack the attention span, motivation, willingness, or even skills to excel during virtual school. Students with ADHD, neurodiversity, processing or language delays, and those with technological or parent work conflicts are at an even greater disadvantage. We’ll review concrete steps you can take with students to help improve their preparedness strategies, sustained attention, task initiation, time management skills, and ideas to improve and reward motivation for students. Please join us for an interactive webinar on August 19th at 5pm to discuss these challenges and strategies. Space is very limited to allow for discussion and questions, so please register soon!
