Teen Time: Monster Jam (ages 13-18)

Who: Teen Night
(Criteria: Teen Night is for individuals 13-18 who can participate in simple conversations, follow multi-step directions, have a clear understanding of dangerous situations (crossing the street, etc.), and visit the restroom independently. Appropriate behavior is mandatory. Language or actions of violent or sexual nature, are strictly forbidden.)
What: Monster Jam @ Hampton Coliseum
Where: Drop off and Pick up will be at Heritage United Methodist Church-
815 Baker Rd., Virginia Beach, Virginia, 23462
When: Saturday, January 22, 2022, from 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM.
Why: To provide social interaction and community engagement opportunities to teens and young adults with autism.
How: Adult staff and peer volunteer chaperones will provide 1:6 supervision. Peer volunteers will also participate, but their primary purpose is to provide social interaction, not supervision.

Join us as we watch the most action-packed live event on four wheels where world-class drivers compete in front of capacity crowds around the globe. Monster Jam features high octane spontaneous entertainment and intense competition, featuring the most recognizable trucks in the world.
Please note: price includes staff, event, and transportation. Concessions are not included. If you would like, please provide your child with monies to purchase concessions. Please put monies in a wallet or baggie with their name in or on it as well advising their staff at check-in. THIS IS A LOUD EVENT. IF YOUR CHILD IS SENSITIVE TO NOISE, PLEASE SEND EAR PROTECTION!
