As a kid, my parents always took us on tons of road trips. They loved to explore new places and because we moved every 2 years, we saw incredible cities with famous winding roads, mountains that had awesome snow tubing trails, lakes that we learned to ski on, streams with tadpoles, swinging bridges, canyons, oceans with perfect barrels, and bays that look like our ocean locally. I wish I would have appreciated it more. They showed us the world. Eventually, we landed in Virginia Beach, my Dads last duty station. I never imagined there would be a time that road trips and photography would be my life line. A way to keep my sanity. But, I am forever grateful that they instilled the wandering bug in me and the desire to see beauty anywhere.
